We connect knowledge, innovation and participation with purposeful action.

Our approach connects advocacy with enterprise, technology, research and community participation. We seek to help ideas become structured programmes, partnerships become purposeful work, and commitments become measurable progress.

What Development Diplomacy Means to Us

Development diplomacy brings people and institutions together to address shared challenges through dialogue, technical cooperation, relationship building and the coordination of expertise and resources.\n\nFor the Mission, it is a practical approach to connecting development priorities with the people and institutions that can help deliver them.

Our institutional foundation
The Mission is an independent non-state initiative aligned with African Union Agenda 2063. It is not an organ of the African Union or an embassy. Internal appointments and honorary designations do not confer sovereign diplomatic status, immunity or African Union accreditation.
PEOPLE. PURPOSE. CONNECTION.
